We were very lucky to be invited to visit a cultural exhibition at the Ministry of Social Affairs in Ras Al Khaimah. The staff were fantastic and treated us to lots of local delights and traditions.

Article from National Ambulance Newsletter: Big lessons for 'Little Treasures'............. Children at the Little Treasures nursery in RAK received a surprise visit earlier this month. An ambulance arrived with our staff, not to handle an emergency, but as part of an educational week about people who help the community.

We were delighted to be invited back to perform some festive carols at the Hilton Golf & Beach Resort. The children's performance was one for which both teachers and parents were very proud. Well done to everyone involved and a special thanks to the Hilton for all the treats and goodies.

Staff Appreciation Morning

Just to say thank you for all their hard work, the LT's staff enjoyed breakfast at Maison Mathis following by a beauty day at Senses Salon in Marjan Island. A well deserved treat enjoyed by all.

We Say Farewell to Miss Rowena

A very sad day as we say goodbye to a wonderful teacher, friend and a very inspirational lady. Miss Rowena returns to her home in the Philippines to join her husband and two boys having spent two fantastic years in the UAE. We wish her all the success and happiness she truly deserves.

New Construction Area

We have introduced a new construction area to our outdoor playground and thus far this has proved very popular with the kids. We are preparing engineers, scientists, managers and mechanical minds for the future!

CPD Courses at Al Qasimi Foundation

Little Treasures is delighted to be working alongside The Al Qasimi Foundation to offer continuing professional development courses to all the nursery staff in Ras Al Khaimah. This initiative is in its second year and has delivered 8 courses to-date certifying approximately 80 attendees per course.

Community Helpers Week

What an amazing week we had learning about all the fantastic people who help us in our community. We had lots of visitors including The Vilage Vet, Rak Hospital, Pets Oasis, RAK Animal Welfare and Julphar Dental. Thanks to everyone who gave up the time to come and visit the children.

Our Handprint Memory Tree

We began the work on our handprint tree in our playground so all our students can leave a little something of themselves when they move on to big school! That way we get to remember each and every one of our little treasures xxx

The Banyan Tree Birds

October 2014: We were very lucky at the nursery to have a visit from the Banyan Tree Birds for a second year running. This is one of our most exciting and anticipated visits each year and all the children thoroughly enjoyed the morning. Sincere Thanks to Mitchell Olivier and his team for the visit.

Family Fun Day

April 2014: Little Treasures Nursery hosted a Family Fun Day on behalf of RAK Animal Welfare Centre. Its was a very successful day with two pets finding new homes. Lots of fun activities were enjoyed by all ages from the egg and spoon races, popcorn and candyfloss treats to the Moms versus Dads Tug-O-War.

Mothers Day 2014

Our Little Treasures put on a fantastic concert for their very special Moms to celebrate this years Mothers Day. Many teary-eyed Moms sat and listened as the children recited the songs. The children put in a lot of hard work for this day and it really showed as it was a fantastic morning for all.

Splash Day!

Trying to soak in as much of this lovely weather as we can before the heat hits, we enjoyed another fun splash day at the nursery. No-one escaped the watergun firing line and staff members enjoyed squelching shoes for the remainder of the morning ! I am sure we will fit one last splash day before the end of term :-)
